Ferndale Arts Gallery September Artist of the Month is Benjamin Green. He will be available at the gallery for a “meet and greet” on September 4 and October 1. Green describes himself as a “north coast nature artist.” He is both a literary as well as a visual artist. The gallery displays most of his dozen published books; his creative writings are also available on cards, bookmarks, and limited edition broadsides. His paintings are impressionistic renderings in oil, watercolor, and liquid graphite. The subjects are fish, fishing landscapes, birds and trees. The gallery is located at 580 Main Street and is open from 10 to 5 seven days a week. The gallery can be contacted at 786-9634.
