Spring is here and there are glorious garden-y things happening this week — good for your yard and good for your soul. Stop by the Benefit for the Fortuna Garden Club on Saturday, March 27 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Fortuna River Lodge and pick up bright and delightful daffodils to color your yard. They've got more than 30 varieties for a $10 donation each. Masks and social distancing required. Come early, they go fast!

And, get your hands in the dirt and do some good for your community at the Cesar Chavez Volunteer Day on Wednesday, March 31 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Potawot Community Food Garden. Dress for the weather, wear closed-toed shoes and follow COVID-19 safety guidelines (masks, hand washing, social distancing). See the Potawot Community Food Garden Facebook page for up to date details.
