The Humboldt-Del Norte Film Commission announced the premiere of the entirely-filmed-in-Humboldt movie The Sky Is Everywhere on Apple TV+ this Friday, Feb. 11, along with a coinciding red-carpet event at 5 p.m. at the gazebo in Old Town, Eureka.
The event at the gazebo will feature a red carpet, lights and a ribbon cutting by Eureka Mayor Susan Seaman for the The Sky Is Everywhere marker, across from the filming location of a major dance scene in the movie. On hold is the commission's usual red carpet premiere soiree with full dress and full film screening, but an outdoor showing of The Sky Is Everywhere is tentatively planned for spring.
