Boston-based fiddler Hanneke Cassel, winner of the 1997 U.S. National Scottish Fiddle Championship and sought-after performer at Celtic festivals across the globe, brings her special blend of contemporary and traditional music, infused with flavors of the Isle of Skye and Cape Breton Island and Americana to Arcata Playhouse on Thursday, Sept. 22, from 7 to 8 p.m. ($18, $16).
