Another Kinetic Cancelation

In an open letter, the folks behind the annual Kinetic Grand Championship, the three-day wild and wooly wheeled adventure across the land and sea of our county, have announced the canceling of this year's in-person Memorial Day weekend event. "The threat of harm from COVID-19 is all too clear," the statement reads, and organizers are heeding the advice of the Humboldt County Department of Health and Human Services' warning that not enough of the community will have been vaccinated by then.
