authors
and faculty advisor for Humboldt State's literary magazine,
Toyon
.
Because of a discrepancy between public postings and an old website, TOYON , Humboldt State University’s Journal of Art and Writing, has extended the deadline for the 2009 volume to Friday, October 31 ( Halloween ), 2008. Complete submission guidelines can be found at http://www.humboldt.edu/~english/toyon.html or are available as a printout on the counter of the English Department (Founders Hall 201).
TOYON is edited and produced by HSU students from all disciplines and supported by the Associated Student Body from IRA funds. While TOYON receives submissions from all over the planet, it considers itself a journal of North Coast writing and art, and particularly welcomes new voices. TOYON charges no reading fees, and all selections are "blind."
