U.S. Highway 101 is closed at mile marker 92, just north of Leggett, after power lines fell into the roadway at approximately 9:15 p.m. Wednesday, according to a California Highway Patrol spokesperson. The downed lines caused a small fire and traffic was stopped.

According to a Caltrans update at around 10:30 p.m., there are no detours and the highway may be closed for several hours.

Facebook post from Caltrans:
U.S. Highway 101 is fully closed just north of the Leggett due to a  downed tree and power lines. Caltrans crews are waiting for PG&E to  reach the scene and de-energize the power lines so the tree can be removed. There is no detour, and the highway may be closed for a few  hours.
