Food for People and Cooperation Humboldt will hold an emergency drive-through food distribution this afternoon to help those suffering from food insecurity during the COVID-19 crisis.

The distribution will happen from 2 to 4 p.m. today. Those with a car are asked to arrive to the parking lot near what used to be Sears at the Bayshore Mall via the entrance on Bayshore Way near Applebees and to stay in their cars. Volunteers will load the food directly into their vehicles in an effort to cut down on face-to-face interactions. Those without a car are asked to go to the Eureka Food Pantry at 2112 Broadway and can call 407-0447 for more information.

See the full press release below for additional information, including how to donate to Food for People.
