The Humboldt County Joint Information Center is reporting that the latest case of COVID-19 confirmed in the county is linked to a known case while the No. 54 case from April 29 was due to community transmission.

Of the 55 total cases known in region, 24 were known contact, 20 due to travel and 11 via community spread.
