While masks or other facial coverings have been mandatory inside a building, such as a grocery store, or in other public situations where individuals are unable to maintain a 6-feet distance since April 24, many folks are also regularly using gloves to avoid the spread of COVID-19.

But there is a trick to properly removing the gloves to avoid contamination, which would, of course negate the whole effort. In the video below, Humboldt Bay Fire's firefighter-paramedic Traci Kroll shows us how it’s done by a professional. And, please, remember to properly dispose of used gloves. None of us wants to find one in a grocery cart or littering local parking lots.
