The Times-Standard reports that childcare facilities are preparing to reopen as California moves forward with Stage 2 of easing restrictions after two months of COVID-19 precautions.

According to the article, half of the 300 or so daycare providers in the region shut down during shelter in place but around 60 to 65 percent are now open with safety precautions in place.

One of the facilities that did remain open was Little Learners, which mainly served the families of Open Door Health Centers staff members under a longstanding partnership. Find Journal coverage about the collaboration here.
