Humboldt County Public Health Lab Receives Testing Reagents, Increasing Testing Capacity

The Humboldt County COVID-19 information Facebook page is reporting that Humboldt County Public Health Lab received testing reagents for 420 more COVID-19 tests on Monday.
According to the post, they were flown up by Andrew Hanson and Alex Efrey from the California National Guard 95th Civil Support Team in Hayward.
The delivery increases the Lab’s testing capacity and will be processed by a Cepheid GeneXpert machine purchased through Homeland Security funds.
