A structure in the 500 block of Phillipsville Road in Phillipsville burned to the ground this morning. Firefighters received the call about 6:25 a.m.
According to CalFire spokesperson David Esteves, two outbuildings were completely destroyed in this fire. While normally outbuildings are not considered residences, he said, “People were living in the outbuildings. [There were] at least two residents.” However, no one was known to be injured.
The cause is under investigation, Esteves said.
Miranda Volunteer Fire and Cal Fire were on the scene.
