The Trinidad City Council is scheduled to hold a special council meeting tonight to consider adopting a special COVID-19 moratorium on short-term rentals (STR).

Trinidad is considering the moratorium as the city continues to see tourism despite the county moving to the state's "widespread" COVID-19 Risk Assessment Tier.

The adoption of the moratorium could impact the city's budget, which is hugely dependent on tourism.
