"Record or near record high temperatures are forecast for Eureka, Crescent City and Ukiah on Wednesday and Thursday," the office reports.

On the coast, Eureka is forecast to hit 70 degrees today and a now updated 69 tomorrow, tying the record set on Feb. 9 in 1928 and breaking the previous Feb. 10 record of 68 degrees from 1987. The max temperature for the month of February is 85 set back in 1930.
