Humboldt County Public Health reported today that the county has confirmed one COVID-19 death since its last report March 30.

No new hospitalizations were reported today but, according to a state database, eight people are currently hospitalized with the virus locally, including two under intensive care. The death reported today is the 141st in Humboldt County since the pandemic began.
