UPDATED:
An evacuation order has now been issued for zones HUM-EO77-C, HUM-E058 and HUM-061, south and east of Willow Creek.

Evacuation warnings have been issued for zones HUM-EO63, HUM-EO64 and HUM-EO77-B, south of Willow Creek. These areas are urged to prepare for potential evacuation orders.

"Be ready to go at a moment's notice," the Humboldt County Office of Emergency Services warns.

PREVIOUSLY:
The Humboldt County Office of Emergency Services has issued immediate evacuation orders for two residential zones east of Willow Creek.

"Residents in these zones should evacuate now," an alert states, adding that there is no immediate threat to Willow Creek, but residents of the two zones — located north of Forest Route 7N15, south of Seeley McIntosh Road, east of Seeley McIntosh Road and Campbell Ridge Road and west of Forest Route 7N15; and north of Forest Route 7N15, south of Horse Linto Creek Road, east of Peach Tree Lane and west of Coon Creek Road — are under lawful order to leave.

An evacuation warning is also in place in the community of Salyer, just east of the Humboldt-Trinity county line.

The area around Willow Creek has been inundated with at least 10 fires since this morning, when a lightning storm sparked numerous blazes in the area.

An evacuation center has been set up at Trinity Valley Elementary School (730 State Route 96) and folks at the Willow Creek Bulletin Facebook page are coordinating large animal evacuations.
