NCJ Archives: Snow Fun in 2019

Two year ago tonight, a flurry of snow began falling on coastal Humboldt, much to the delight of grownups and children alike who rushed out into the night (and the next morning) to enjoy an impromptu snowball fight, build a snowman or snowwoman and simply revel in the moment. The rare coastal arrival, the likes of which had not been seen since 2002, did make for some treacherous driving conditions and shutdown U.S. Highway in northern Mendocino County.
