During Friday's Arts Arcata, the Fire Art Center’s monthly art opening will be adding a film to its usual fare of live music, refreshments and featured ceramic artists’ works. This month at 8:00 p.m. there will be a free showing of the film Andrew Goldsworthy: Rivers and Tides, a visually stunning display of this environmental sculptor creating his masterpieces with natural elements from oceans, rivers, stones, trees and ice. This month’s featured ceramic artists are Cate Be and Lisa Enge. The center is located at 520 South G Street, across from the Arcata Marsh.
