Cal Poly Humboldt Jazz Combos Concert

When: Sat., April 30, 8-10 p.m. 2022

Join jazz band leader Dan Aldag and the Cal Poly Humboldt School of Dance, Music, and Theatre as they present this semester’s Jazz Combos. The Noon Combo plays jazz classics from several different eras, including Miles Davis's "Four," Chick Corea's "Spain," and "Strasbourg/St. Denis" by Roy Hargrove. The 1:00 Combo plays "Road Song" by Wes Montgomery, "Nuages" by Django Reinhardt, and Freddie Hubbard's "Red Clay." The 2:00 Combo performs several well-known jazz standards including Milt Jackson's "Bags' Groove" and Juan Tizol and Duke Ellington's "Caravan." Proof of COVID vaccination and booster is still required for all guests on campus.

Price: $10, $5 child, free for Cal Poly Humboldt students w/ID
