Friends of the Arcata Marsh (FOAM) is sponsoring a free tour of the Arcata Marsh & Wildlife Sanctuary on Saturday, January 1. Meet leader Ken Burton at 2 p.m. in the lobby of the Interpretive Center on South G Street for a 90-minute, rain-or-shine walk focusing on birds, plants, and/or Marsh ecology. Masks are required inside the building (which will be open if volunteers staffing can be found); have one handy to comply with current County COVID rules outdoors.
