The Christmas Flood of 1964

As the 50th anniversary of one of Humboldt County’s worst disasters draws near, the Clarke Museum and local historian Arlene Hartin present information about the 1964 flood. Hartin shares documents from her personal collection of flood artifacts. An exhibit showcasing newspaper coverage, military and Red Cross response and the CalTrans video The Christmas Flood of 1964 is on display until the end of the year.
