1964 Flood Commemoration

When: Sat., Dec. 13, 11 a.m.-4 p.m. 2014

Event includes presentations about the flood and ways to prepare for future natural disasters. Organizations participating include Humboldt County Historical Society, CalTrans, the U.S. Coast Guard, Humboldt State University library’s Humboldt Room, Redwood Memorial Hospital, the Eel River Recovery Group and the Humboldt County chapter of the American Red Cross. Those in attendance may share their memories and stories about the flood.
