The 2022 Annie & Mary Day Parade Grand Marshal was Michael Fields, recent new owner of The Logger Bar and long-time producing artistic director of the Dell'Arte Company. He rode to the start of the parade while seated in the bear chair from "Blue Lake the Opera" in this pickup decked out with Logger Bar banners – including a banner that read, "Our beer is colder than your exes heart."

After the parade was over this year, the driver of the vintage Blue Lake Fire Department fire truck had to recruit bystanders to help push the vehicle back to its garage space.

Annie & Mary Day also featured a wide mix of vintage vehicles in the Bill Nessler Car Show along Railroad Avenue in Blue Lake. This one-of-a-kind "Super Charged 1965 Chevrolet 'Double Puff'" truck owned by Tim Lorenzo, of Eureka, featured a mirror inside the hood to give onlookers a better view of the motor.

One of the more popular drink vendors on this warm, sunny Sunday afternoon was the fundraiser offered by Friends of Annie & Mary Rail-Trail (the proposed 6.8 mile trail would follow sections of the historic Arcata-Mad River rail corridor from Arcata to Blue Lake).
