Heads up, Humboldt:
While the county's masking mandate has been lifted, Public Health is still strongly recommending masking indoors in public, social distancing and "avoiding crowds and poorly ventilated spaces." COVID-19 is still with us, so be sure to check the protocols at event venues.

About Time

When: Sat., June 29, 8 p.m. and Sun., June 30, 2 p.m. 2013

Written by Tom Cole, About Time takes place in the condominium kitchen of an old married couple. Over the course of the day from breakfast and lunch to dinner and a late snack, the couple talks about everything under the sun, especially food, sex, children and aging. She is getting slower than she used to be; in fact, it takes all morning to chop vegetables. He cannot move around quite as fast as he once did. Neither sees their children as much as they would like. Yet both certainly have their wits about them as the dialogue snaps and crackles its way through the four scenes. Faced with the thought of mortality, they grapple with what it means to share—and to come to the end of—a life together. The production is directed by Matt Cole and features veteran actors Toodie Boll and Gene Cole in the cast. Second stage productions are offered outside the regular season at NCRT and consist of one or two weekend offerings of simply staged plays. Recommended for high school age or older.
