The Alan Hager-Dave Fleschner Duo will perform American roots music, blues, ragtime, soul and original tunes on Saturday, July 11 at 7 p.m., Trinidad Town Hall. Greg "Slim-Lively" Johnson, president of Cascade Blues Association, called the pair "two of Portland's most talented musicians with extensive backgrounds in the local and national blues scene." Master guitarist Alan Hager was named best acoustic guitar player in the Blues Association Muddy Awards. Fellow guitarist Bill Rhoades called him "the most complete and accomplished musician I have ever worked with." Terry Robb and Alan combined their talent as a duo as well. Dave Fleschner, who has toured with Earl Thomas, Curtis Salgado, John Nemeth and Karen Lovely, also has shared the stage with B.B. King, the Pointer Sisters, Steve Miller, Mel Brown, Taj Mahal and the Portland Symphony. He works as a band leader, arranger, session musician and song writer.
