The press release states that the NYC-based jazz drummer/composer Allison Miller and her band Boom Tic Boom just released their sophomore full-length studio album, No Morphine, No Lilies, on The Royal Potato Family record label. Boom Tic Boom features Allison Miller alongside Myra Melford (piano), Jenny Scheinman (violin) and Todd Sickafoose (bass); the band line-up for Miller's show at the Arcata Playhouse will include her on drums, Myra Melford, Todd Sickafoose, and others TBA. Miller is known to many fans as the drummer for Natalie Merchant, Ani DiFranco, Brandi Carlile, and several other distinguished artists.
