When you nabbed the big one: first place prize for coverage of the COVID pandemic, well, that was a monumental homerun. However, your full-page ads for that tobacco company — an ignominious strikeout.
And it was not lucky at all.
They are now emboldened to boast about their coffin nail products. They glory in the past and promise for the future.
