Meet leader Ralph Bucher for a walk along the Shorebird Loop Trail where songbirds, raptors, waders, and water birds have been spending the winter. The month of March is a great time to see early migrants, so keep a look out for migratory songbirds like warblers, sparrows, and thrushes in the productive wetland and riparian habitats of this iconic Humboldt birding spot. The two-mile walk is along an easily accessible flat gravel trail. Let us know you plan to attend by text/messaging Ralph Bucher
