Meet leader Gary Friedrichsen at the end of South I Street (Klopp Lake) in Arcata. The month of March will bring in some early terrestrial migrants, like warblers, flycatchers, and vireos, while still hosting an abundance of wintering shorebirds and ducks. We will spend time birding by ear, while also keeping an eye out for early nesting activity from resident breeders as well. It should be a good opportunity to see some flocks gearing up for their northward push. Let us know you plan to attend by text/messaging Ralph Bucher.
