Bach On!

When: Sun., Dec. 11, 7 p.m. 2022

New Humboldt-based string orchestra, Bach On!, presents Medieval, Baroque, Classical, and Romantic-era works in their second concert. Local musicians have come together to play from the vast repertoire of music for string orchestra. Violinists Reid Blickenstaff, Aurora Pitts, and Julie Fulkerson; violist Holly MacDonell; cellist Jesse Alm; and bassist Dario Olachea present music by Bach, Brahms, Corelli, Grieg, Mozart and Anonymous which will appear and resound from the far reaches of the church. The ensemble performs in the architectural and acoustic gem, Christ Episcopal Church. COVID precautions: Unvaccinated individuals are requested to wear masks. Masks are optional for those who are vaccinated Off-street parking is available at the corner of 14 th and G Streets. Handicapped accessible entrance is on 15 th Street, between G and H Streets. Admission is free; suggested donations of $20 -- which go to support the music -- are gratefully accepted.
