Best Place to Shoot Pool

Sure, the cavernous Rose's Billiards is a natural choice for the pool shark, what with the regular tournaments, live cam and the rows of 7- and 9-foot Diamond pool tables. But even if you misspent your youth somewhere other than a pool hall, it's a fine place to chalk up. All those tables and by-the-hour pricing mean no queuing up for the cue and nobody eyeballing you while you break. And if you've ever jabbed some big dude off his barstool while you tried to make the corner pocket, you'll appreciate the space.

You might also appreciate that it's nice in there — decidedly un-seedy. There are schmancy microbrews at the little bar in back and the whole place is aglow in flatteringly dim lights so you at least look good while you scratch. Rack 'em up.
