This class will include a hands on compost building workshop featuring the use of the biodynamic preps and vortex brewing. We will discuss soil microbes and the roll they play in composting and plant nutrition. We will talk about microbial foods and the composting materials that will feed a balanced diversity of life. We will also have a brief run through of multifaceted composting techniques such as Bokashi and worms bins. I hope to show how various techniques can deal with different kinds of waste materials to gives us healthy, life giving compost.
