Redwood Region Audubon Society invites you to join sporadically local biologist and author, Ken Burton for this presentation. He will share photos and stories from his two-month journey last year through eastern and southern Australia in search of chowchillas, logrunners, plains-wanderers, and other birds with funny names. There will be kangaroos and cockatoos, too, as well as other strange creatures and stunning scenery. Ken also will talk about Australian biogeography and conservation challenges. Doors open at 7:00 p.m. and the program will begin at 7:30. bring a mug for shade-grown coffee and come fragrance-free
