The class covers many areas: knowing your boat, getting underway, navigation, operating safely, legal requirements and handling emergencies. In addition, the class provides the knowledge needed to obtain a Boaters Education Card from the Oregon Marine Board; good in any state. Offered at SWOCC by the Coast Guard Auxiliary.
