Heads up, Humboldt:
While the county's masking mandate has been lifted, Public Health is still strongly recommending masking indoors in public, social distancing and "avoiding crowds and poorly ventilated spaces." COVID-19 is still with us, so be sure to check the protocols at event venues.

Book Sale

When: Sat., Oct. 13, 1-4 p.m. 2018

The Friends of the McKinleyville Library will be having a Spooktacular Used Book Sale on Saturday, Oct 13th from 1-4pm by the Totem Pole in the McKinleyville Shopping Center - look for the red and white book sale signs. In the spirit of Halloween, the sale will be featuring lots of newly-arrived mysteries, fiendish fiction, and spell binding books for adults and children of all ages. Along with those seasonal selections, there are a number of vintage children's books at frighteningly low prices. As always there will be the usual eclectic collection of non-fiction options along with a with a wide variety of fiction choices. There will be a $2/bag sale in front of the sale site. Don't forget to bring a bag to carry all the spooktacular sales away. Book donations will be taken during the sale but due to space limitations, not all books can be accepted. All sale proceeds benefit the McKinleyville Library. It's no mystery why this sale is so popular!
