Join Redwood Region Audubon Society for an online presentation with Daniel S. Cooper, Ph.D., Research Associate in the Department of Ornithology at Los Angeles County Museum of Natural History and President of Cooper Ecological Monitoring, Inc. Bird populations, particularly in urban areas, are in constant flux, with some species adapting and thriving, and others declining. With colleagues, Dan recently investigated the role of ecological and behavioral traits for more than 50 species of nesting birds in the Los Angeles area using two datasets separated by over 20 years. Come learn about their findings, future predictions and suggestions for conservation efforts.
