Join the United Way, the Northcoast Environmental Center and the Arcata Environmental Services Department for an Arcata Marsh and Wildlife Sanctuary cleanup day from 9 a.m. to noon. Help pull invasive spartina grass and litter from Arcata’s vital wetlands. A barbecue lunch will follow at Eureka’s Sequoia Park.
