HSU's Sustainable Futures Speaker Series presents this panel discussion titled “Bringing Electricity Service Under Local Control: Implications of Humboldt County's New Community Choice Energy Program.” The panel features Jim Zoellick, Senior Research Engineer, Schatz Energy Research Center; Matthew Marshall, Executive Director, Redwood Coast Energy Authority (RCEA); Shawn Marshall, Director, LEAN Energy US; and Shehzad Wadalawala, Client Services, The Energy Authority; with Kevin Fingerman, Assistant Professor, HSU as moderator. They will discuss the RCEA’s upcoming Community Choice Energy program for Humboldt County. The program is aimed at offering a cleaner energy mix at lower rates to local customers.
