A story headlined "Flashpoint" in the Aug. 2, 2018 edition of the North Coast Journal contained inaccurate information about the rates of people living with hepatitis C in Humboldt County compared to the rest of the state and the nation. Humboldt County's infection rates are three times that of California and five times the national average. The Journal regrets the error.
