Crested Hens

When: Sat., Oct. 31, 6-9 p.m. 2015

Crested Hens will play Celtic music in the spirit of Samhain with the recognition of how on the night of Halloween there is an opening between our world and the spirit world. Celebrate this night as the veil thins between the living & the dead! Crested Hens play Irish/Celtic music with spirit, imagination & an unwavering respect for the rich traditions from which it springs. The duo performs tunes of Ireland and other Celtic lands along with "Visionary songs". Emoji Emoji Halloween had its beginnings in Samhain, an ancient pre-Christian Celtic festival of the dead, also a harvest festival. Samhain was the biggest & most significant holiday (holy day) of the Celtic year. In old Irish, "samhain" meant "summer's end". For info, see seaburygould.com, or call 707-845-8167. Come enjoy conviviality, enchantment, good food & drink, & live Celtic music featuring the cello.
