Heads up, Humboldt:
While the county's masking mandate has been lifted, Public Health is still strongly recommending masking indoors in public, social distancing and "avoiding crowds and poorly ventilated spaces." COVID-19 is still with us, so be sure to check the protocols at event venues.

Day of the Dead Celebration

When: Oct. 31-Nov. 3, 3-9 p.m. 2018

Join us to remember those who have passed and to celebrate and honor them. We will have an altar set up starting Oct 31 - Nov 2. You're invited to bring in a photo, memorabilia, or offering of some sort. The Aztecs developed the ritual some 3,000 years ago because they believed one should not grieve the loss of a beloved ancestor who passed. Instead, the Aztecs celebrated their lives and welcomed the return of their spirits to the land of the living once a year.
