When: Fri., Oct. 14, 7:30-9 p.m. 2016
Join Redwood Region Audubon Society for this fascinating presentation. As the first wolves since the 1920s return to California, Richard Thiel, retired wildlife biologist for the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources who has written widely about wolves, will talk about Wisconsin’s experience over the past 30 years with a recolonizing wolf population. Richard will discuss individual wolf packs that are returning just to our north, as he brings his experience with wolf recovery to inform issues related to recolonizing wolves in the Pacific Northwest. Bring your own mug and come fragrance free.
