Enhancing Disability Independence

The Eureka Woman's Club will present “Enhancing Disability Independence” by Anisa Escobedo on Nov 20 at the EWC clubhouse, 1531 J St, Eureka. Doors open at 5:30; the program starts at 6. Anisa is theOutreach/Volunteer/Youth Coordinator Tri-County Independent Living (TCIL). The talk will include a general overview of TCIL core services and their new Public Safety Power Shutoff service. Anisa has spent many years serving the community locally and statewide; most recently she served two years as Vice Chair for the Disability Action Coalition. Since 2016, she has been an active member of Kiwanis International, a global service organization focusing on serving and improving the lives of children around the world.
