Cultivating Genius: An Equity Framework for Culturally and Historically Responsive Literacy. In partnership with Redwood Writing Project. Free book provided to all participants. Facilitated by four local educators: Tina Peretz (elementary teacher); Roger Culps (middle school teacher); Michael Gibson (student teacher, graduate program special education); and, Beth Wylie (Director of Fuente Nueva Charter School). This five-week introduction series will be followed by an in-depth series starting September 2022 focused on deeper learning, presentations of what this looks like in our classrooms, and supported learning to guide you in the use of this equity framework for culturally and historically responsive literacy.
