Heads up, Humboldt:
While the county's masking mandate has been lifted, Public Health is still strongly recommending masking indoors in public, social distancing and "avoiding crowds and poorly ventilated spaces." COVID-19 is still with us, so be sure to check the protocols at event venues.

Eureka Family Literacy Night

When: Wed., May 17, 6:30 p.m. 2017

Local favorites Quack and Wabbit Puppet Theater present a musical story about cooperation and friendship. Audience participation is encouraged, creating a playful environment. Don't miss out on this opportunity! This is the last Family Literacy Night until it resumes again in September. The Eureka Library is located at 1313 Third St. A free book is given to every child in attendance after the performance. Books are donated by Tin Can Mailman, located across the plaza in Arcata. Humboldt Literacy Project is a nonprofit dedicated to helping adults in need of reaching their literacy goals. For more information or to get involved visit humlit.org. Check out the Eureka Library's website at humlib.org for all of their amazing summer programs. A big thank you to First 5 Humboldt, humkids.org, for funding this family event.
