While the county's masking mandate has been lifted, Public Health is still strongly recommending masking indoors in public, social distancing and "avoiding crowds and poorly ventilated spaces." COVID-19 is still with us, so be sure to check the protocols at event venues.

Please join the Southern Humboldt Community Park in its 5th annual Fall Splendor Fashion Show fundraiser. This year's event presents, A Night of Opulence in the Orient. Enjoy some sake, a sushi dinner and be enraptured by decadent entertainment and live fashion show. DJ Marjo Lak of Brazil will set the tone for the evening with her worldy and energetic beats. This year also includes a special Trashion Show segment, where designers will showcase and sell creations made from recycled material and trash. This spectacular evening brings you all the elements, including a live and silent auction, vendor booths, performances by the Bada Bling! Burlesque and a dance party with L.A. DJ Lou E. Bagels to top off the evening.
