Heads up, Humboldt:
While the county's masking mandate has been lifted, Public Health is still strongly recommending masking indoors in public, social distancing and "avoiding crowds and poorly ventilated spaces." COVID-19 is still with us, so be sure to check the protocols at event venues.

Family Literacy Night

When: Wed., Feb. 17, 6:30 p.m. 2016

Humboldt Literacy Project and the Eureka Main Library invite you to an evening of story-sharing at Family Literacy Night, Wednesday, Feb. 17 at 6:30 p.m. at the Eureka Main Library. Children's Librarian Jeanine Lancaster leads this first-time event and invites kids and adults to tell a story we all know, learn a new story to tell and tell a story none of us knows until we tell it! Children get to pick a free book at the end of the event. Books are generously donated by Tin Can Mailman. The Eureka Library is located at 1313 Third St. Family Literacy Night is brought to you by First5 Humboldt www.humkids.org and Humboldt Literacy Project. For more information about Humboldt County's only source for free, confidential, one-on-one English literacy tutoring for adults, call Humboldt Literacy Project at 445-3655 or visit our website at www.humlit.org.
