Family Literacy Night

When: Wed., Oct. 12, 6:30 p.m. 2016

Humboldt Literacy Project and the Fortuna Library present Family Literacy Night with Ali Freedlund. Come and enjoy a well known local storyteller whose stories celebrate this beautiful area and the many creatures that live here. Through her stories, Ali hopes to empower people of all ages to love and respect this place and each other. This event is on Wednesday, October 12 at 6:30 p.m. at the Fortuna Main Library, 753 14th st. A free book is given at the end to every child in attendance. Funded by Fortuna Friends of the library. Books donated by Tin Can Mailman, The Humboldt Literacy Project is a nonprofit which provides free, confidential tutoring for adults.
