The Showcase features select student films and videos completed over the last two years, including works by beginning, intermediate and advanced students. One example of the films to be screened is the documentary film Medicine Water (directed by James Simmons) featuring the late Jim Tobin (1949-2016) and his quest to purify our water in Arcata. Some of the films have won top awards at the California State University (CSU) Media Arts Festival--a competition of work from eighteen CSU campuses around the state.
